Sufferrosa
Sufferrosa · dir. Dawid Marcinkowski
Poland 2007, 60’
Sufferrosa is a multidimensional audiovisual collage referring to Alphaville (1965) by Jean-Luc Godard. It corresponds with American film noir, silent films and videoclip aesthetics. A surreal, full of cliches plot is a pretext to a thought about a cult of youth and fear of death in contemporary world. The world that has been getting old fast. There was a lot of famous people involved in this project: Sonic Youth, Beata Tyszkiewicz, Michał Urbaniak, Jacek Fedorowicz, to name a few.
