Zgorszenie publiczne
Zgorszenie publiczne · dir. Maciej Prykowski
Poland 2009, 86’
Trailer
Zgorszenie publiczne is at first glance a little crazy, lively comedy based on two romantic plots: between a couple of young people and between the elderly one. In its deeper, fundamental layer, the film is an attempt to entertaining, however fragmentary, description of Silesia — the extremely significant region for the Polish film and the whole Polish society.
The main character ― Romanek Drzozga has thirty years. He lives on a small estate of familioki ― Fytel. He leads an average life, makes money by showing tourists the ruins of the nearby smelter. In his spare he bums with buddy Hajnel and rather clumsily picks Butterfly up — eighteen years old girl, who spends holidays with her aunt Lucy. One day blows up a sensation — on Fytel prowls ‘Zgorszyniec’. The appearance of masked exhibitionist in a dressing-grown coincides with the return to his family home Erik Drzozga.
